Ghana Association of Arizona(GAA) The 2nd Annual Kente Dinner Dance was hosted in Arizona on Saturday, November 4th 2017 by Ghana Association of Arizona (GAA). The purpose of this event was to raise funds to support Ghana Association Adopted children Intellectual Disabilities at Dzorwulu Special School in Ghana. The Theme for the event was: Wrap with Pride and Support A Good Cause. The occasion was full of Ghana culture and hence involved a lot of Ghana Traditional Activities. This created the 'show off' of the famous traditional cloth in Ghana called Kente. In fact there was different types and styles of Kente at the event. These numerous attractions drew a lot of Personalities into the show. There was also Guest Speakers: M.D, Dr. Owusu Dormery and Peter Okra,PHD.They talked about educational system in America and health and how as much as everyone can try to stay Cancer free. Base on Ghana Traditions, the Association invited Kings and Queen mothers from each region...
